Excellent – and probably ecologically/evolutionarily correct.
Plus, it’s quite funny.

Cheers!

Nice design on this…the substrate texture really adds to the piece…

Had to look ’substrate’ up.It means ‘An underlying layer’, I think that the texture does add to a already beautiful and funny illustration.

Thank you everyone for the nice comments! It’s funny because this is a real watercolor done on watercolor paper (not digital), and the scan just turned out that way. I was thinking the texture was getting in the way of the illustration itself and took a mental note to make sure I used a cold press Bristol board next time to do without such a harsh texture. But I’m pleased you like it, and doubly glad you like the illustration.

I also like this illustration. It really is fun and inspired a giggle out loud from me. Playful and creative.

Very funny and I think the watercolor paper texture adds to the illustration too.

Brilliant! Just love the concept. Sometimes don’t we all just sprout out of our regular shape and grow an extra arm, a thought, a vision? Just love it!
